I am Anji, 23 years old mother and feminist living in Portsmouth on the south coast of England with my four-year-old son Orion, my partner Fredrik and three beautiful fancy rats named Gytha, Esme and Rosie. I am mentally ill and disabled, Pagan, a strict vegetarian and teetotal but smoke far too many cigarettes, an artist and writer, an animal lover, pierced, tattooed and stretched, and a total pain in the arse much of the time. |
This journal is friends locked by default. It's not that I don't like you, it's just that I don't know you - step up and introduce yourself and we can have a blast together. I talk a lot about feminism, parenting and mental and physical illness/disability. If you don't care for these things, or you are unable to keep my private things private, this is probably not the place for you. |

Books: I love reading. My all time favourite series is Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. My other favourite books include Wuthering Heights, Sophie's World, the Harry Potter series, The Time Traveller's Wife, The Handmaid's Tale, The Bell Jar, Tipping The Velvet, the Otherland quadrilogy, A Thousand Splendid Suns and the His Dark Materials trilogy. TV: I don't like television as a rule, and the only channel that's ever being shown in our house is Cbeebies. I do have a few series I like to watch on DVD or downloaded using the Popcorn though. My favourites are Babylon 5, Dexter and Fringe. |
